The dream of finding the ingredients in rejuvenated aging skin has been ongoing since human civilization. Unfortunately, many ingredients with no commercial values have been discarded due to their effects in dampening the profits of all cosmetic companies.

Don't ask me about commercial anti-aging products. Most of them are produced for making profits and do not perform as theirs' claims. Truly, if one found to be effective, it will constitute to shelf-removal of many others with the same intention. Unfortunately, walking through the cosmetic section of health stores and super markets, thousands of these products are still packed on the shelves. How effective they are? You know the answer.

Skin aging is one of most visible ageing process which occurs constantly in our skin organ. According to the Clinical Centre of Nis, certain plant extracts may have the ability to scavenge free radicals, to protect the skin matrix through the inhibition of enzymatic degradation, or to promote collagen synthesis in the skin, affect skin elasticity and tightness(a). Other suggested that free radicals induced domino effects in production of reactive oxygen species, can react with DNA, proteins, and fatty acids, causing oxidative damage and impairment of antioxidant system, leading injuries damage regulation pathways of skin, including wrinkles, roughness, appearance of fine lines, lack of elasticity, and de- or hyperpigmentation marks(b).
The degradation of the epidermal and dermal layers of the extracellular matrix (ECM), the non-cellular component present within all tissues and organs, such as UV Exposure, decline of lysosomal/endosomal cathepsin K, S and V activity(c) as well as environment factors such as irregular dryness, dark/light pigmentation, sallowness, severe atrophy, telangiectases, premalignant lesions, laxity, leathery appearance and deep wrinkling, etc., cause modification of the surface of skinand the physical properties of that lead to skin aging. 2. Ginger

Fibroadenomas are benign breast tumors composed of fibrous and glandular tissue which occur mostly in women 30 years old or younger. Using canned chickpeas means you can prepare this hummus in just a few Minutes with no cooking required. Serve with toasted pita chips.
Tips: this recipe can be lighter by replacing 1 tbsp. (15mL) olive oil with the same amount of water. It's just as tasty. For presentation, drizzle a little olive oil on top and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Food processor
11/2 cup drained rinsed canned chickpeas (375mL)
1 clove garlic, coarsely chopped 1
3 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice (45mL)
1 tbsp. olive oil (15mL)
1 tbsp. tahini (15mL)
1/2 tsp. salt (2mL)
Freshly ground pepper
In a food processor, puree chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, 3 tbsp. (45mL) water, tahini and pepper to taste, until smooth and creamy.
Variation: Fresh herb hummus: Add 2 tbsp. (30mL) fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley leaves, 6 fresh basil leaves and 2 tsp. (10mL) thyme leaves with chickpeas. Make 12.
