1. Osteoblastogenesis
in the investigation of the effects of oleuropein on the processes of osteoblastogenesis and adipogenesis in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from human bone marrow, found that an increase in osteoblast differentiation and a decrease in adipocyte differentiation when there is oleuropein in the culture media. All women are experience menstrual disorder sometimes during their child bearing years before menopause. 2. Difficult menstruation
Difficult menstruation is common symptoms for women with dysmenorrhrea because of imbalance liver. As qi is stagnated, it does not have enough strength to regulate the blood flow, making menstruation difficulty.

3. Scanty menstrual discharge
In some case, qi may be able to regulate the blood flow in the reproductive organs, but blood formation of liver is damaged, it leaves only a small amount blood for menstruation, causing scanty menstrual discharge.

4. Period with dark purple color containing blood clots

                      The effects of Vitamin E

1. The serum of vitamin E
Epidemiological studies, in determination of the forms of vitamin E in reduced risk of Alzheimers disease have been inclusive. According to the joint study by the University and University of Perugia, elevated levels of tocopherol and tocotrienol forms are associated with reduced risk of cognitive impairment in older adults(1). In other study of vitamin E and risk if AD in advanced age, high plasma levels of beta-tocopherol was associated to reduced risk of developing AD but levels of alpha-tocopherol, alpha- tocotrienol, and beta-tocotrienol showed only a marginally significant effect in the multiadjusted model(2). The differentiation of vitamin E marker in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from cognitively intact control (CTL) subjects, suggested nutritional biomarkers detected in plasma-tocopherols andtocotrienols-as indirect indicators of the onset of AD(3). Other researchers suggest that various tocopherol forms rather than alpha- tocopherol alone may be important in the vitamin E protective association with Alzheimer disease(4) and low plasma tocopherols and tocotrienols levels are associated with increased odds of MCI and AD(5)(6).

2. The conflict results
A Double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, randomized clinical trial involving 613 patients with mild to moderate AD, combination of 2000 IU/d of alpha tocopherol and memantine, exhibited the slower functional decline in mild to moderate AD(7). A placebo-controlled, clinical trial of vitamin E in patients with moderately advanced Alzheimer disease treatment with with 2000 IU (1342 alpha-tocopherol equivalents) vitamin E/d. may slow functional deterioration and prevent a clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer disease in elderly persons with mild cognitive impairment(8). In the testing of the hypothesis of oxygen free radicals are probably involved in the deterioration of cognitive function, showed a positive effect of alpha-tocopherol in reduced risk of the cognitive impairment but inconsistent for women taking vitamin E alone, with no evidence of higher scores with longer durations of use(9). The double-blind, randomized trials in which treatment with vitamin E at any dose was compared with placebo for patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's dementia (AD) showed a positive effects of vitamin E in treatment of AD or MCI, but future trials assessing vitamin E treatment in AD should not be restricted to alpha-tocopherol(10). Unfortunately, there is no evidence of vitamin E in the prevention or treatment of people with AD or MCI, according to the study by the Milton Court Resourse Centre(11) and The Maudsley Hospital(12).

Taking altogether, without going into reviews, serum of vitamin E and vitamin E may be used as an indicator for the early onset and in reduced risk and treatment of Alzheimers' disease respectivelt. Over doses of vitamin E supplement can cause symptoms of blurred vision, weakness, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, etc., please make sure you follow the guideline of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies.

In the comparison of the effects of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA, C18:3n-3) to those of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, C20:5n-3) plus docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, C22:6n-3) on cardiovascular risk markers in healthy elderly subjects, found that Both n-3fatty acid diets did not change concentrations of total-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triacylglycerol and apoA-1 when compared with the oleic acid-rich diet. Intake of EPA/DHA also increased apoB concentrations by 14 mg/dl (P = 0.0031, 95% CI (4, 23 mg/dl)) and 12 mg/dl (P = 0.005, 95% CI (3, 21 mg/dl)) versus the oleic acid and ALA-rich diet, respectively. Except for an EPA/DHA-induced increase in tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) of 14.6% (P = 0.0184 versus ALA diet, 95% CI (1.5, 18.3%)), changes in markers of hemostasis and endothelial integrity did not reach statistical significance following consumption of the two n-3 fatty acid diets, according to "Effects of alpha-linolenic acid versus those of EPA/DHA on cardiovascular risk markers in healthy elderly subjects" by Goyens PL, Mensink RP.(35)

The mean levels of total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, and triglycerides did not change significantly in the placebo group. Also, most of the effects of TF1 (20 μmol/l) on cardiac function after 60 min of reperfusion were reversed by 5-HD (100 μmol/l), a selective mitochondria K(ATP) antagonist. (3) Atractyloside (20 μmol/l), a mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) opener, administered at the beginning of 15 min of reperfusion completely abolished the cardioprotection of TF1 (20 μmol/l), according to "ATP-dependent potassium channels and mitochondrial permeability transition pores play roles in the cardioprotection of theaflavin in young rat" by Ma H, Huang X, Li Q, Guan Y, Yuan F, Zhang Y.(42)

1. Iodine

2. Resveratrol
In the study of resveratrol, the main ingredient found in skin and seed of grape and its impact on aging and thyroid function, showed that resveratrol is believed to regulate several biological processes, mainly metabolism and aging, by modulating the mammalian silent information regulator 1 (SIRT1) of the sirtuin family. Resveratrol may arrest, among various tumors, cell growth in both papillary and follicular thyroid cancer by activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signal transduction pathway as well as increase of p53 and its phosphorylation. Finally, resveratrol also influences thyroid function by enhancing iodide trapping and, by increasing TSH secretion via activation of sirtuins and the phosphatidylinositol- 4-phosphate 5 kinase γ (PIP5Kγ) pathway, positively affects metabolism(51).

3. Polyphenolic flavonoids
In the comparison of the efficacy of polyphenolic flavonoids found in black and green tea in thyroid function, showed that green tea extract at 2.5 g% and 5.0 g% doses and black tea extract only at 5.0 g% dose have the potential to alter the thyroid gland physiology and architecture, that is, enlargement of thyroid gland as well as hypertrophy and/or hyperplasia of the thyroid follicles and inhibition of the activity of thyroid peroxidase and 5(‘)-deiodinase I with elevated thyroidal Na+, K+-ATPase activity along with significant decrease in serum T3 and T4, and a parallel increase in serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)(52).
