Phytochemials are defined as a group of chemical compound found naturally in plants, including fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, etc. Many studies have proven that they can because of certain phytochemicals, but for what ever reason, there are either no clinical trials follow through or the studies can not make to stage of clinical trials. Do not expect the pharmateutical or foods industrial companies to pay for the researches, as the discovery of the phytochemicals to cure cancers can only dampen the profits of both industries as phytochemicals can not be patented.

Cancer is a class of diseases in which a group of cells growing and multiplying disordered and uncontrollable way in our body, have become progressively worse and damaged other healthy tissues, sometimes spreads to other organs in the body via lymph or blood and results may be in death.
Food intake can help to prevent and treat cancers.

             Skin Cancer (Excluding Melanoma)

Skin cancer is a medical condition of uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells and often detected at an early stage.

Types of skin cancers
The three most common skin cancers are
1. Basal cell cancer
It is the most common type of skin cancer as a result of abnormal growth of the cells in the lowest layer of the epidermis. The cancer rarely spread and kill but can cause significant destruction and disfigurement to the affected skin area and accounted for more than 90% of all skin cancer in the U.S.
2. Squamous cell cancer
It arises from the uncontrolled multiplication of transformed malignant cells in the middle layer of the epidermis.
3. Melanoma
Melanoma is a kind of skin cancer but less common to other skin cancer as a result of malignancy of melanocytes, which are the cell produced dark pigment for your skin. see Melanoma Skin Cancer (Malignant Melanoma)

Types of food to prevent and treat skin cancer
1. Green tea
In the investigations and mechanistic studies that define and support the photoprotective efficacy of green tea polyphenols (GTPs) against UV carcinogenesis, showed that oral administration of GTPs in drinking water or the topical application of EGCG prevents UVB-induced skin tumor development in mice, and this prevention is mediated through: (a) the induction of immunoregulatory cytokine interleukin (IL) 12; (b) IL-12-dependent DNA repair following nucleotide excision repair mechanism; (c) the inhibition of UV-induced immunosuppression through IL-12-dependent DNA repair; (d) the inhibition of angiogenic factors; and (e) the stimulation of cytotoxic T cells in a tumor microenvironment(1).

2. Turmeric,
In the study of curcumin loaded chitin nanogels (CCNGs) were developed using biocompatible and biodegradable chitin with an anticancer curcumin drug. Chitin, as well as curcumin, is insoluble in water,
indicated that The CCNGs showed a 4-fold increase in steady state transdermal flux of curcumin as compared to that of control curcumin solution. The histopathology studies of the porcine skin samples treated with the prepared materials showed loosening of the horny layer of the epidermis, facilitating penetration with no observed signs of inflammation. These results suggest that the formulated CCNGs offer specific advantage for the treatment of melanoma, the most common and serious type of skin cancer, by effective transdermal penetration(2).

3. Tea, Grapes and berries
Myricetin is a flavonol, belong to the flavonoid in Flavonoids (polyphenols), found in many tea grapes, berries, fruits, etc. In the affirmation of myricetin, a flavonol, found to inhibit UVB-induced angiogenesis by targeting PI3-K in an SKH-1 hairless mouse skin tumorigenesis model. Raf kinase is a critical target for myricetin in inhibiting the UVB-induced formation of wrinkles and suppression of type I procollagen and collagen levels in mouse skin, according to "Myricetin is a potent chemopreventive phytochemical in skin carcinogenesis" by Kang NJ, Jung SK, Lee KW, Lee HJ.(3)

4. Grapes and red wine
in the study to evaluate the chemopreventive effects of resveratrol against UVB radiation-mediated skin tumorigenesis in the SKH-1 hairless mouse model, suggests that resveratrol enhanced apoptosis in UVB-exposure-mediated skintumors. Our study, for the first time, demonstrated that 1) resveratrol imparts strong chemopreventive effects against UVB exposure-mediated skincarcinogenesis (relevant to human skin cancers), and 2) the chemopreventive effects of resveratrol may, at least in part, be mediated via modulations in Survivin and other associated events. On the basis of our work, it is conceivable to designresveratrol-containing emollient or patch, as well as sunscreen and skin-care products for prevention of skin cancer and other conditions, which are believed to be caused by UV radiation(4).

                               Cystitis

Cystitis is defined as a condition of urinary bladder inflammation

                     Cystiti Prevention - The Diet

Diet is important to enhance immune system in fighting against forming of free radicals and invasion of bacteria and virus.
1. Foods contain high amount of antioxidant scavenger
Vitamin A, C, E are classified as antioxidant can be found abundantly in fruits and vegetable. they not only promte the immune function in free radicals scavenging but also protect our body against infection and inflammation. For more information visit Antioxidants

2. Cranberry
According to the study of "Cranberry and urinary tract infections" by Guay DR , posted in PubMed, researcher indicated that the findings of the Cochrane Collaboration support the potential use of cranberry products in the prophylaxis of recurrent UTIs in young and middle-aged women. However, in light of the heterogeneity of clinical study designs and the lack of consensus regarding the dosage regimen and formulation to use, cranberry products cannot be recommended for the prophylaxis of recurrent UTIs at this time. 3. Probiotics
probiotics enhance the balance of good and bad bacteria in the digestive tract and other related organs such as vagina. According to the study of "Role of probioticsin urogenital healthcare" by Waigankar SS, Patel V., posted in PubMed, researchers found that the value of a probiotics cannot be taken at face value.Probiotics must not be considered a panacea for treating urogenital infections. However, the available data promises that it will be a strong option in improving and maintaining urogenital health.

4. Moderate alcohol consumption
In a study conducted by Department of Metabolism and Nutrition, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC), posted in PubMed, researchers wrote that moderate alcohol consumption seems to have a beneficial impact on the immune system compared to alcohol abuse or abstinence. Therefore, the link between alcohol consumption, immune response, as well as infectious and inflammatory processes remains not completely understood.

5. Water Consumption and UTIs
According to the study of "Mild dehydration: a risk factor of urinary tract infection?" by Beetz R., posted in PubMed., researchers found that the combination of the behaviourally determined aspects of host defence and not simply increasing fluid intake is important in therapy and prophylaxis of UTI.

Oligomenorrhea is an irregular menstruation and defined as a condition of infrequent period or a woman menstrual period does not occur at a interval of greater than 35 days.

Hormone treatments of Progesterone only pill

Norethisterone a progestogen and has been used used treat premenstrual syndrome, painful periods, abnormal heavy bleeding, irregular periods. In a study of A comparative study of danazol and norethisterone in dysfunctional uterine bleeding presenting as menorrhagia M. Bonduelle, J.J. Walker and A.A. Caldert, researcher found that Since this study was undertaken, a report of
objective measurement of blood loss in small groups of patients9 casts further doubt on the
efficacy ofnorethisterone, although it confirms that of danazol. Since norethisterone is very widely used, a detailed assessment of its efficacy and safety in comparison to danazol is overdue. Should such a study confirm the findings discussed here then danazol could usefully be employed as first line therapy in the management of dysfunctional uterine bleeding presenting as menorrhagia.

                    Overcome Infertility

Infertility is defined as inability of a couple to conceive after 12 months of unprotected sexual intercourse. It effects over 5 millions couple alone in the U. S. and many times more in the world. Because of unawareness of treatments, only 10% seeks help from professional specialist.

Progesterone test of Female Infertility In Conventional medicine Perspective

Progesterone test is to measure the levels of progesterone which are vital for softening the uterine lining and helping with implantation after an egg is released from your ovaries as the remaining follicle becomes the corpus luteum.

Blood test is done at the 4 -9 days after predicted ovulation for women with 28 days cycle.
The of levels progesterone is different in each stage of menstrual cycle, it surges just before ovulation.

The progesterone test is used for a wide variety of different purposes. It helps to determine
1. If ovulation has occurred
2. When ovulation occurred
3. The risk of ectopic pregnancy
4. Risk of miscarriage
5. Adrenal gland dysfunction.

Since progesterone is produced with high amount right after the eggs has emerged to stimulate ovulation because abnormal levels of progesterone interferes with the ovulation of women menstrual cycle, causing infertility. If the test result indicates that you have abnormally high levels, it may indicate a false pregnancy or adrenal gland dysfunction, otherwise you may be suffering from ovulation problems or miscarriage.

                                   Colitis

Colitis is defined as a condition of inflammation of the large intestine, including the colon, caecum and rectum.

                             Types of Colitis

According to the study by Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, types of colitis include
microscopic colitis, ischemic colitis, segmental colitis associated with diverticula, radiation colitis, diversion colitis, eosinophilic colitis and Behcet's colitis(a).

The Indeterminate colitis and Atypical colitis - Treatments

A.6. Indeterminate colitis and Atypical colitis
A.6.1. Indeterminate colitis
Indeterminate colitis (IC) originally referred to those 10–15% of cases of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in which there was difficulty distinguishing between ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD) in the colectomy specimen(104). Other researchers defined that a diagnosis of indeterminate colitis(IC) is based on endoscopic, histologic, and radiologic findings when the criteria for either Crohn's colitis or ulcerative colitis (UC) cannot be definitively established(105). Others indicated that most cases of IC represent UC upon long-term clinical follow-up. Although, in some instances, serologic testing for ANCA or ASCA may be helpful in separating UC from CD in patients with IC, there is much overlap in the results of these assays for cases in which CD involves the colon in a UC-like pattern. Approximately 20% of IC patients develop severe pouch complications, which is intermediate in frequency between that seen in ulcerative colitis (UC) or CD. The risk of pouch complications, such as perianal fistulas or abscesses, and the risk of pouch breakdown is, overall, quite similar between IC and UC patients, supporting the notion that most patients with IC probably have UC and can safely undergo an ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (a procedure involves the creation of a pouch of small intestine to recreate the removed rectum) procedure and have a reasonably good chance of having a good outcome(106).
According to the study by Center for Crohn's and Colitis, Brigham and Women's Hospital, no studies have been undertaken to determine the optimum treatment regimen for IC. Recent studies have shown that patients with IC are still appropriate candidates for ileal pouch anal anastomosis. In conclusion, the current data support the premise that IC may be a separate entity, but future studies will have to focus on the genotypic and phenotypic characterization of these patients(107).
1. Medical therapy
Medication used to treatment commonly in treating IBD, is also being used in IC.
2. Surgical therapy
Total proctocolectomy and ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) has become the surgical treatment of choice for a large number of patients with UC(108).

A.6.2. Atypical colitis
Treatment of atypical colitis is dependence to the differentiation
1. C. difficile colitis
According to the study by St. Thomas' Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, in patients with cystic fibrosis, imaging findings of a pancolitis should raise the possibility of C. difficile colitis despite the lack of watery diarrhea. Anticlostridial treatment can be initiated before bacteriologic confirmation is obtained(109).

2. Atypical forms of microscopic colitis
Microscopic colitis is defined as a syndrome of chronic watery diarrhea with a chronic inflammatory cell infiltrate in the colonic mucosa but without significant abnormalities at colonoscopy. According to the study by St. Thomas' Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London, by considering the clinical history and symptoms, the pathologist should be able to reach the correct diagnosis in most cases. However, the spectrum of morphologic changes associated with watery diarrhea syndrome appears to be broader than originally thought. Morphologic changes more often associated with chronic inflammatory bowel disease or even chronic ischemic or infectious colitis have been noted in patients with clinically established microscopic colitis. The data presented in this article suggest that microscopic colitis is a heterogeneous entity, which includes both classic and "atypical" forms(110).

3. Atypical allergic colitis
There is a report of 2 atypical cases of colitis due to cow's milk protein intolerance (CMPI) are reported, affecting preterm infants. One developed a toxic dilatation of the colon and responded well to a casein hydrolysate based feed. The second presented insidiously and failed to tolerate a casein hydrolysate, but responded well to a chicken-based modular feed(111)

                                        Autism

Autism is one of the most common forms of brain development disorder and one in 166 child is diagnosed with some forms of autism. Children who are diagnosed with autism tend to have weak immune system and auto immune problems. Autism is defined as medical condition in which a child has some of the following impairments
a) Speech
b) Social and communication skills
c) Limited interest
d) Repetitive behaviour

The Importance of Diet - Foods for Blood circulation

Although medication and physical therapies are important for autistic children, without carefully chosen intake of foods with vital nutrients, they will be lessened their effectiveness. In some cases, it may contribute to severity of the symptoms if wrong kinds of food are taken as we mentioned in previous article. It is the responsibility of the parent of autistic children to record daily food intake and carefully observe the reaction of the child during early stage of diagnosis. There are some foods which may increase the autoimmune response, thus weakening the immune system in fighting the forming of cell oxidation and bacteria and virus. Others may decrease the blood circulation to cells, thus interfering with central nervous system in transmitting and regulating information, etc. Here are some important diet for autistic children's parent to consider.
a) Essential fatty acids
Fatty acid besides is vital for the function liver fat and protein metabolism, it also plays an important role in helping our cell in information transmitting as well as reducing the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood stream.

b) Garlic
Garlic is considered as one the super foods, containing certain substances, besides decreasing the forming of plaque accumulated in the arterial wall, it also makes the blood thinner, thereby increasing the circulatory function in transporting the blood throughout our body, including the nervous system, leading to reducing symptoms of autism. Children who take the blood thinner medication should consult with their doctor before applying.

c) Oranges
Orange contains high amount of vitamin C and bioflavonoids besides helping to increase immune system in fighting against autoimmune dysfunction and cells oxidation, they also help to strengthen the capillary walls and increase blood flow in the body.

d) Watermelon
Watermelons are rich in lycopene which not only helps to prevent the irregular cell growth, including tumor and cancer in the brain, but also reduces a buildup of plaque in the arterial wall, thus increasing the circulatory system in transporting oxygen and nutrient to the body cells' need, including central nervous system.
