Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) is medical condition mostly caused by work related occupations and working environment, affecting patients’ muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves and developing over time. A community sample of 73 females and 32 males aged 85 and over underwent a standardised examination at home. Musculoskeletal pain was reported by 57% of those interviewed(1).

Yield: 2 serving (about 8 ounce each)
1/2 cup avocado of any kind with seeds
1 cup almonds
1 cup green tea drink 1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams(2 tea bags) of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and set aside for cooling to room temperature)


1. Place the avocado, almonds, green tea, in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed. Add more green tea drink if needed
3. Serve immediately

1. Green tea

2. Avocados
In the study of Methanolic (80%) extracts obtained from lyophilized ground peels and seeds of avocado (Persea americana Mill.) of the Hass and Shepard varieties were characterized for their phenolic compound profiles using the HPLC-PAD technique, showed that The peel extracts had a higher total phenolic compound content and antioxidant activity when compared to the seed extracts. The highest TEAC and ORAC values were apparent in peels of the Haas variety in which they amounted to 0.16 and 0.47 mmol Trolox/g DW, respectively. Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. high blood pressure means raising pressure in your heart. If your blood pressure stays high over time it can damage the body in many ways.

The smoothie for people with Depression and high risk of the syndrome

Yield: 2 serving (about 8 ounce each)
1 1/2 cups blue berries
1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams(2 tea bags) of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and set aside for cooling to room temperature)


1. Place the blue berries and green tea in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The combination of green tea and berries recently have drawn attention of the science community as their phytochemicals catechins and Anthocyanins have shown effectively in attenuate depressive symptoms in animal model study(1).

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate.
The drink has showed to exhibit antidepressive-like effects through its anti-oxidant phenolic compounds, epidemiological studies suggested(2).
