1 cup pomegranate
1/2 cup avocado
1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and let cool to room temperature)

1. Place the pomegranate, avocado, and green tea, in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed. Add more green tea drink if needed
3. Serve immediately

Pomegranates is a fruit-bearing small tree, genus Punica, belongings to family Lythraceae, native to Iran, cultivated in Asian since ancient time. The fruit has been found to process various health benefits, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, oxidative stress,...inflammatory activities(1).

Recent study in the investigation of a possible smoothie for treatment of Hyperglycemia, or High Blood Sugar suggested that green tea(5) used conjunction with pomegranates(1) and  may be next generation of alternative potentials for patient with high fasting glucose.

According to Dr. Kim HK and the research team at the Hanseo University, pomegranate inhibited intestinal glucose uptake, through its effects in controlling the dietary glucose absorption at the intestinal tract in nutrient regulation expression, and of that may contribute to blood glucose homeostasis and reduced risk of diabetes(2).

Avocados are a commercially valuable fruit and are cultivated in tropical climates throughout the world. It is a green-skinned, pear-shaped fruit that ripens after harvesting and native to the Caribbean, Mexico, South America and Central America.

People who are at increased risk of Hyperglycemia, or High Blood Sugar due to family history, gene mutation.....should drink at least one cup daily and people with chronic Hyperglycemia, or High Blood Sugar should drink the juices as much as they can depending to digestive toleration.

According to the Ain Shams University, pomegranate fruit extract inhibited the pathology of BPH, through its effects of anti inflammation and oxidative stress along with apoptotic changes by elucidating the effectiveness of PFE in preventing testosterone-induced BPH in animal model(2).
The study of the effective in human consumption of walnuts and pomegranate juice, showed that urolithin glucuronides and dimethyl ellagic acid found in walnut and pomegranate juice may be the molecules responsible for the beneficial effects against BPH or PCa(7).
