Unfortunately, many compounds found effective in initial studying failed to confirm the potential in large sample size and multi center.
Recent studies suggested that scientist in some research centers have found the naturally potential ingredients, such as Green tea(1), Turmeric(3) and Olive(7) for reduced risk and treatment for
Eczema.

According to the study by the Shiga University of Medical Science, drking doolong tea made from a 10-g teabag placed in 1000 mL of boiling water and steeped for 5 minutes. exhibited beneficial effect after 1 or 2 weeks of treatment. and a good response 64 patients (54%) at 6 months(2).
In deed, the effectiveness of green tea for treatment of eczema may be due to its Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate (EGCG in inhibition of pro infammatory cytokines pathways on human epidermal keratinocytes(5) and oxidative stress in induction of inflammation(6)

According to the Jeju National University, ω-3 PUFAs and polyphenols found in olive oil is found to attenuate the expression of pro inflammatory cytokines induced inflammatory skin diseases through various inflammatory cells such as mast cells, basophils, eosinophils and T cells(9).
This finding of the effectiveness of Green Tea, Turmeric and olive may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for treatment of Eczema with little or no adverse effects.
