The finding of a natural source for treatment of Bowen's disease (BD) has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in either large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Bowen's disease (BD), an early stage of skin disease with characteristics of red, scaly patch on the skin. There is a suggestion that the diseases in early stage of skin cancer  may be resulted of arsenic exposure  causes of oxidative stress and alternation of DNA(2), in the groundwater of many under developed countries, affecting 200 million people(1).

It is hard to image that a curable smoothie with detoxified property may have a potential in reduced risk of the disease in people who constantly involved to the exposure to arsenic. But due to lack of knowledge of the progression of the diseases in early stage of skin cancer in general population, the finding of these natural ingredients has run into many obstacles.

Turmeric is a perennial plant in the genus Curcuma, belongings to the family Zingiberaceae, native to tropical South Asia. The herb has been used in trditional medicine as anti-oxidant, hypoglycemic, colorant, antiseptic, wound healing agent, and to treat flatulence, bloating, and appetite loss, ulcers, eczema, inflammations, etc. Its phytochemical curcumin exhibited anti-inflammatory, antiplatelet, antioxidative, hepatoprotective and antitumor activities, particularly against many types of cancers, including skin cancer(4).
In the phase I clinical trial, researchers suggested that curcumin may be the next potential in the chemoprevention of cancer due to its biologic effect(3).
When used conjunction with LED blue light united red light irradiation, curcumin induced a higher efficiency of regulating proliferation and apoptosis in skin keratinocytes in skin cancer(5).

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects.
Its antioxidant (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), has shown effectively in inhibited development of melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers(7), through its chemopreventive activity(8).
Dr. Katiyar SK, researcher at the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center said," The DNA repair by GTPs is mediated through the induction of interleukin (IL)-12(Pro inflammatory cytokine) which has been shown to have DNA repair ability"(6).

Myricetin is a flavonol, belongings to the flavonoid in Flavonoids (polyphenols), found in many grapes, berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as other plants, used in folk medicine as antioxidant to lower cholesterol, treat certain types of cancer, etc. According to the Kyungpook National University, the phytochemical inhibited the skin cancer formation through its effect on cancer cell cycle division in SKH1-Elite Mice model(9) as well as suppressing UVB-induced cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression of pain and inflammation of mouse skin epidermal JB6 P+ cells(10) in the early stage of non-melanoma skin cancer(11).

The effectiveness of Tomato, Grape and Green Tea  phytochemicals on Bowen's disease (BD)  may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for reduced risk treatment of stroke with little or no adverse effects.
People who are at high risk of Bowen's disease (BD) due to family history, obesity,..... should drink at least one serving daily and people with Bowen's disease (BD) should drink the smoothie as much as they can, depending to digestive toleration.
Life style and dietary patter change are recommended.
